We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Rolando “Randy” Puno. Dr. Puno was a gifted orthopedic spine surgeon and longtime partner of the OCSHCN team, who cared for children with spina bifida and other spine conditions. His compassion, innovation, and dedication to improving patients’ lives were evident in everything he did, from developing groundbreaking spinal instruments to personally designing custom equipment to meet his patients’ unique needs. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the ALS Association (https://www.als.org/ways-give?form=general) or to the Norton Leatherman Spine Center. Please visit www.NortonChildrens.com/Donate and under "Gift Designation" choose "Other" and write in "Rolando M Puno MD Orthopedic and Spine Fund."
