The wait is OVER…THR Peds will begin accepting new patients tomorrow. Please read in detail before you call the office. The phones (502-749-8019 or 502-709-0940) roll over by 9:30am, lunch daily between 2-3pm, and we take the last appointment for the day at 4:15pm. We no longer do weekends (too many no call/no shows). On most days/weeks, we have same day sick visits and same week well-child checks/physicals. Before your appointment: If you have Medicaid, call your servicer and change your P*P; if you have Private or Commercial insurance, this is not required for a PPO. If you have an HMO Private insurance, please call them to make sure we’re in your network. We will need your medical records before you’re allowed to make an appointment from your previous Pediatrician. Once you request them (usually in writing), you can call and let us know you’ve made the request, we will add your child to our system, and once they arrive you will be able to schedule their first visit. If you’re coming from an office that has closed and unable to obtain your records, I will need an immunization record at the minimum (drawer, file cabinet, school/infinite campus, daycare, etc.).
