🧊 Prevent Winter Falls — Even Indoors!
Colder months mean wet shoes, rugs that shift, and darker mornings — all of which can increase fall risk.

🦶 Fall Prevention Tips:
• Wipe shoes and floors to reduce slippery spots
• Remove clutter and secure throw rugs
• Keep pathways brightly lit
• Wear supportive, non-skid footwear
• Use assistive devices as recommended by your therapy team

We’re proud to celebrate Donal Wheeler and his inspiring rehabilitation journey at Signature HealthCARE at Jefferson Manor! 💙

Donal shared that therapy was his favorite part of his stay — a place where he looked forward to working with the team each day as he grew stronger and closer to returning home. With encouragement, motivation, and plenty of teamwork, Donal stayed focused on his goals even on the tough days. 💪

Did you know we often feel less thirsty in cold weather? But your body still needs plenty of fluids — especially during rehab and daily activity.

💧 Winter Hydration Tips:
• Sip water throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty
• Warm drinks like herbal tea count, too
• Include hydrating foods such as soups, fruits, and veggies
• Keep a water bottle nearby at all times
