Congratulations to Amanda Loper, RN, Emergency Department Manager, our first-ever Nurse Leader DAISY Award honoree at Norton Audubon Hospital! 🌼
Amanda’s leadership goes far beyond her title. She shows up — day or night — for her team in every way possible. Whether she's training new nurses, supporting staff during difficult cases, stepping in to work a shift, or creating a space for her team to recharge, Amanda leads with heart.
“She doesn’t even realize the impact she has on all of us,” wrote her nominator. “I’m a better leader, nurse and person because of her.”
Amanda, thank you for setting the standard, inspiring your team and leading with compassion. You are truly one of a kind. 💙

A big congratulations to our recent DAISY Award winner, Morgan Cochran RN! 🌼 Morgan was nominated by a patient, this is what they had to say:
"As a nurse you are supposed to care for patients a certain way, have love for patients and love for your job. Well Morgan is the true definition of a person or should we say a nurse who loves her job and her patients. From the moment she started caring for me, I felt nothing but love and great care.
I was brought to the ICU because I stopped breathing and my heart stopped. I was getting stressed. Morgan recognized this and to over my care and tried to meet all my needs immediately. She made sure I was happy afterwards. Throughout the whole shift she has been so wonderful. Jumping to all my needs and wants was so great of her. Her nursing skills are wonderful and she deserves this award. Her bedside manner is excellent and her compassion for her job is great. She is the perfect nurse to represent Norton Audubon Hospital. "
Thank you for all that you do, Morgan! 💙
