WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING INSURANCE!

We now accept Aetna, Cigna, and Optum (United) Insurances through Alma.

Mental health support is so important these days and we feel passionate about making this support more accessible to clients that can't afford to pay out of pocket.

Here is the link to check out our profile on Alma and schedule a free consultation to see if we would be a good fit. Feel free to pass the link along to teens, young adults, or women that live in Colorado, that you think would benefit.

SUMMER Weekly Art Therapy Process & Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Group for Female-Identifying Teens

REGISTER TODAY!
Tuesdays 5pm - 6:15pm
Ages 14-17

Does your teen need extra support this summer before and after your travel plans? Do they enjoy art? Would they like to connect with peers?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy that is built on the foundation of mindfulness. DBT consists of four modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and emotional regulation. It helps to deepen relationships and also better equips individuals to handle distressing situations that can arise daily.

Is your teen struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional regulation or with relationships? They are not alone. While we live in an age of constant social connection, it is actually the most disconnected we have ever been from ourselves and others. This group is a space for teens to connect, share and build their interpersonal skills to find more stability and fulfillment in their lives.

This group will alternate weekly between an art process group where participants can connect and share about their lives with one another and a more structured group focusing on practical DBT skill building to help participants feel better equipped to face daily challenges.

The cost for the group is $70 per group, we ask that participants pay a monthly fee to be able to attend the group. The monthly fee will vary depending how many times the group meets per month and how many times your teen expects to attend. We are happy to work with your summer travel plans!

Participants may begin any week of the month!

LGBTQ friendly!!!

What would it be like to reach out to a therapist and establish a healthy relationship with them BEFORE you experience these challenges?

Just think about all the tools and resources you could have that would help decrease the amount of suffering.

There continues to be a lot of stigma around therapy.

So many times I have heard from others that therapy is only for, “people with problems”. Since we are humans, part of our human experience is pain, fear, anxiety, anger, grief, and sadness just as much as joy, love, and pleasure.

Therapy is for anyone that is having a human experience.

In most of my client sessions our main focus is strengthening their connections to their gifts (either known or unknown), to their support network, to what gives them joy, to their purpose.

Do you need to have “a problem” as a prerequisite to live your best life?

What if you already had a set of tools that you know how to use so well, that when you experience one of the more difficult human experiences you feel empowered to facing it rather than defeated?

You are ready to step into this position of self empowerment.

Visit the link in our bio or send us a private DM and let's explore how art therapy or talk therapy can help you empower yourself to live your best life and preemptively have what you need when challenges arise.

We're here for you, to help you be there for your best self ♥️

Why talk therapy?

Contemplative Psychotherapy integrates Eastern Buddhist Philosophy, meditation and mindfulness with clinical Western psychology.

It centers on increasing self-awareness and self-compassion through cultivating a deeper connection to one’s own inner wisdom.

Through contemplative psychotherapy (also known as talk therapy), you are able to focus on your own mind's patterns, disrupt negative thoughts and patterns, deepen relationships with yourself and others, and learn to cope with anything you may be struggling with in a healthy way.

This form of therapy is beneficial for teens, young adults and adults coping depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, PTSD, chronic illness, domestic violence and/or crisis.

Talk therapy can transform your mind and your world, when you approach it with an open mind.

TOP 3 WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS AND FEEL MORE JOY!!!

For the next 5 weeks, Janis is hosting sound healing workshops at every Sunday at 2:30pm – and you are invited to join us in this creative healing series to deepen your conscious connections to yourself, others and the earth using sound, voice and art.

Participants from last weekend shared...

At the beginning of the workshop “I feel constriction around my throat, bloating in my upper abdomen, and tingling in my lungs.” At the end of the workshop “I feel clear and a clean feeling in my head & torso.”

At the beginning of the workshop: “I have a tight back and shoulders.” At the end of the workshop: “I slept!. I feel very restful, relaxed. I feel calm, grounded and looser.”

At the beginning of the workshop: “I feel defected, exhausted, drained. My spirit feels lonely and sad. Emotionally imbalanced.” At the end of the workshop: “I feel cooled down. Water expands my body and reminds me of breath and release. I feel like I took a deep breath, more oxygen in my system. I feel a little less heavy more flowy and relaxed.”

At the beginning of the workshop: “I feel slight pain in my back, neutral emotions, and freedom of spirit.” At the end of the workshop: “Pain is gone. I feel a lightness and openness throughout my body. I released a lot of tension.”

The past couple weeks of sound healing workshops have been so powerful, we couldn't wait to share this little recap with you 😊

For the next 5 weeks, Janis is hosting sound healing workshops at every Sunday at 2:30pm – and you are invited to join us in this creative healing series to deepen your conscious connections to yourself, others and the earth using sound, voice and art.

Previous attendants have said...

“Before the workshop I felt anxious and fidgety. By the end of the workshop I felt relaxed and like everything is ok. I released some stress and gained self awareness and confidence.”

“I feel more centered. Emotions are present but not overwhelming. My body feels better. I gained some clarity. I feel more at peace and have more compassion for my loved one’s pain.”

“I feel open. There was an awakening.”

“At the start of the workshop I felt anxious and was thinking about the week and all to do. Go, Go, Go! By the end I felt l relaxed, calm, open, and slower. This workshop inspires me to slow down, breathe and listen to my meditation app more.”

“At the start I felt fatigued, heavy, tired. By the end I felt calmer, it was easier to breath and smiley. It felt like washing away, a new beginning, coming back to myself.”
