We’re sending a big congratulations to Dr. Tiffany Wild, this year’s recipient of American Foundation for the Blind (AFB)'s Corinne Kirchner Research Award! Dr. Wild was the editor for Accessible Science Education for Students With Visual Impairments, an APH Press title released earlier this year. The American Foundation for the Blind proudly celebrates the recipients of this year’s AFB Awards, presented during today’s AFB Leadership Conference Awards Luncheon.

We congratulate Dr. Tiffany Wild, recipient of the Corinne Kirchner Research Award; Nicholas Cook, recipient of the Llura Gund Leadership Award; and Dr. Bernadette Kappen, Lukas Franck, and Louis Braille (posthumously), recipients of the Migel Medal, the highest honor in the field of blindness and low vision.
