A new bookstore, wine bar, and café, called Yer Mom’s, are slated to open in NuLu Marketplace North!
NuLu Marketplace North spans from 808 to 814 E. Main St. and will be connected to the current NuLu Marketplace. Slated to open in the spring, the new bookstore, wine bar, and café will be housed in the first floor with a coworking space on the second floor. Yer Mom’s owner Tara Leigh Goode stated the lack of a bookstore Downtown prompted this new business.
The Courier Journal reports that they are also currently fundraising to open “Grown Up Harvest Grocery,” a grocery store concept on the first floor offering produce from local Kentucky farms.
