“Depression didn’t come in waves or episodes for me — it was constant. After trying multiple antidepressants and still struggling every day, TMS became an option I was more than willing to explore.

My experience undergoing treatment was positive from the start — new and interesting, but never scary or uncomfortable. The staff consistently went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and well-informed. Each session was accompanied by friendly conversation, and every clinician was professional while still creating a warm, welcoming environment.

After completing treatment, I can say with complete honesty and confidence that my depression no longer feels like a cloud constantly following me. I still have cloudy or rainy days sometimes, but now there’s sunshine too — and most days, it’s bright. Even the cloudy days feel lighter, immensely lighter!”

CBT can help you to change how you think (‘cognitive’) and what you do (‘behaviour’), which are both linked to how you feel. CBT looks at problems and difficulties in the ‘here and now’ more than your past or childhood. CBT will help you understand how you think about yourself, the world and other people and how that affects your reaction to situations. Below are some of the problems and conditions CBT is often useful for treating.

  • Poor anger control

  • Depression
