We are happy to welcome the 2026 Bellarmine University Geriatric Resident, Ellie Jury.

Ellie is a 2024 graduate of the University of Kentucky Doctor of Physical Therapy program and has been working with KORT Physical Therapy since graduation. She developed a strong passion for working with the geriatric population while employed as a physical therapy technician prior to PT school, and this interest was further confirmed through her clinical experiences and first year of practice as a licensed physical therapist. She is motivated to continue advancing her education and expanding her clinical experience in geriatrics in order to better serve this population. She is especially excited about the unique opportunities this residency program provides, including dedicated mentorship and access to specialized resources, to support her professional growth and enhance the care she will provide to her patients and community.

This is a great opportunity for BU pre-PT students!

Bellarmine’s Learning Community Program brings together students, mentors, faculty, and staff to form a welcoming and supportive network. The Healthcare Learning Community is designed for students interested in health and medicine who want to explore what it truly means to become a healthcare provider. With a focus on mind, body, and spirit, students engage with the interconnected elements that shape health, wellness, and compassionate care. Students live in the same hallway, building routines and relationships that support a strong start to college. Commuter students are welcome. First-year students can learn more and apply by March 1.
