Halloween week was fun-filled at Park Terrace. We started the week with our Hot Chocolate Bar, then created witches' cauldron canvases, and made personal-sized Halloween bark. We had our annual residents and employees trick-or-treating family night. We ended the week with a visit from Brother Josh and the church. Then, our employee recognition monthly celebration. Halloween happy hour was themed Boos and Booze, where we watched The Dog That Saved Halloween. It was a great week. The residents love seeing all the kids' and employees' costumes and hearing the laughs shared between families and guests throughout the building. ❤️

HAPPY THEME WEEK!! this week we had our theme dinner in pure cruise fashion- all residents got a lai and a captains hat. We played cruise ship inspired games before dinner, which included shooting the cup off of the employees heads, cups and bowling. We enjoyed an amazing dinner from our Chef Vincent that was a surf and turf theme. We made pumpkin rice krispy treats and our pumpkins were any color we liked instead of your typical orange. We created our very own ghost using kids shoes, pool noodles and pillow cases. They turned out super cute and the residents loved them. we will be closing the week with happy hour this afternoon.
