Our residents enjoyed a month of love with Valentine exchanges, themed crafts, and themed baking activities. 💕💌

Kids from the community joined us to share joy and pass out Valentines as well, creating unforgettable moments. Our residents had their own Valentines exchange and enjoyed celebrating the love we have for each other by picking out, signing, giving, and receiving Valentines.

Celebrating love and community at our annual Valentine’s dinner! ❤️🌹

Our memory care residents each played an essential role in making this night a success. We want to specially thank our bouncers, greeter, prayer leader, decoration managers, taste testers, singer, watcher, babysitter, conversation starter, resident advocate, and resident sweetheart for all their hard work making this night as wonderful as it could be. 💕

We made the decorations with the help of our decorations managers that included flower arrangements, door wreaths, heart garlands, and a special banner with pictures of everyone and their loved ones for all to enjoy. 💐 Together we also made the heart sugar cookies that were a huge hit and chocolate covered pretzels to give to our loved ones! Additionally, we wanted to say a special thank you to all our families for all the love they bring to our lives by writing them each personal love letters accompanied by a rose.

Live a Dream Spotlight! 🐈

We had the most purr-fect day bringing Margaret to the cat café to help her live out her dream. One of the first things she’ll tell you about herself is that she’s “always had cats,” and she loved them with her whole heart. It warmed all of our hearts to see her reunited with the animals that brought her so much happiness throughout her life.

As an added bonus, we included some of her other favorite things in this special day. Margaret loves her coffee and sweets, and we were able to enjoy both at the café after our cat time. Most importantly, her beloved son, Jimmy, joined us to make the day as special as it could be.

Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

This past Saturday, Louisville came together to celebrate Veterans Day with the annual Veterans Parade — and Glenridge was proud to take part in this special event.

We are deeply grateful to all who have served and continue to serve our country. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication inspire us every day.

Captain’s Dinner Night at Glen Ridge!
What an amazing evening we had! Our residents absolutely loved the delicious steak and lobster dinner. So many compliments all around !
The entertainment was a hit too. Elvis had everyone smiling, singing, and dancing
along. It was truly a night to remember!

Resident Outing to the Kentucky Castle 🏰

Our residents recently enjoyed a beautiful outing to the Kentucky Castle! The day was filled with awe and wonder as they toured the majestic grounds and learned about the castle’s rich history. Everyone was amazed by the stunning architecture and serene surroundings—it was truly a magical experience! What a joy it was to see our residents in awe of such a fantastic sight!

🎲 Casino Themed Dinner Night: A Full House of Fun! 🎶🥩

What a winning evening we had at our Casino Themed Dinner! The atmosphere was electric! Our residents enjoyed the smooth sounds of the talented 3 Strings Music Band, who kept the energy high with live music all night long. 🎼♥️♠️

Guests were treated to a mouthwatering dinner featuring:
🥩 Tender rib-eye steak
🥦 Steamed broccoli
🥔 Creamy garlic mashed potatoes

The laughter, music, and delicious food made for an unforgettable night of entertainment and connection. Our residents truly had a great time — it was a jackpot of joy from start to finish!

There was something about the ocean that always spoke to Mary Devore’s soul. In her youth, she found joy in the simplest, most beautiful things — the warm sand beneath her toes, the distant cries of seagulls overhead, the gentle rhythm of the waves lapping against the shore. She would sit for hours, eyes scanning the horizon for dolphins dancing through the surf, heart full, spirit at peace.

And of course, no beach day was complete without her favorite — a cold Bushwhacker in hand, shaded under her umbrella, laughter in the breeze, and contentment all around her.

Mary’s love for the sea never faded, even as the years passed. That’s why it meant so much when Glen Ridge gave her the chance to do a Live A Dream and once again feel the sand between her toes — to soak up the sun, to relax, to remember, and to be. It was a gift of presence, of memory, and of joy.

The beach was and will always be her happy place!

A special thank you to the owners of J-Town Beach for allowing us the opportunity to bring Mary and fulfill one of her dreams of returning to the beach!

🌟🎲 Golden Casino Happy Hour Recap! 🎉♠️

Residents struck gold at our Golden Casino Happy Hour, and the night was nothing short of unforgettable!

🃏 The Blackjack table was buzzing with excitement as everyone tried their hand at the cards
🍤 Guests enjoyed yummy appetizers like shrimp cocktail, ham & cheese sliders, and mouthwatering bacon-wrapped chicken
🍹 Frosty slushies kept everyone cool and refreshed
🎶 The incredible 3 Strings Band brought the house down with a lively performance that had everyone tapping their feet

It was a day filled with great food, good music, and endless fun with friends and neighbors. Thanks to everyone who joined us — let’s do it again soon!

From bold blooms to fresh produce, our campus is alive with color and joy. It’s more than just a garden — it’s a place where community grows, hands get a little dirty, and smiles bloom just as brightly as the flowers.

There’s nothing quite like picking your own fresh snack right outside your door!

Here at Glen Ridge we had our first ever art walk and it was a success! Our residents displayed their amazing arts and crafts that they have done over the years. Our wonderful Craft director Jackie displayed some of her art as well! It was such a joy for everyone to see the wonderful projects we have been working on!
