Tonight, our halls are glowing a little brighter and our hearts are a little fuller. Christmas Eve is a time for reflection, comfort, and togetherness, and that spirit lives strongly here with our residents.

Last Friday was filled with music, smiles, and pure Christmas joy. 🎶✨
We were blessed to welcome a wonderful group of homeschool students from Shelby Christian Church, along with other local co-op churches, who came to our nursing home to spread holiday cheer.

The children sang Christmas carols for our residents, made beautiful Christmas cards, and truly brightened every room they entered. You could see it on the faces of our residents, the smiles, the laughter, and even a few happy tears. These are the moments that make the season feel extra special.

A huge shout out and sincere thank you to all of the students, families, and church leaders who shared their time, talents, and hearts with us. Your kindness and joy meant the world to our residents and reminded us all what Christmas is truly about. ❤️🎄 and once again we brought in our own Santa Claus for kids, and it was an absolute hit!!

💚 We were honored to welcome the wonderful students from St. Patrick’s Catholic School into our nursing home for a special afternoon of ornament making with our residents.

The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and the kind of joy that only comes from generations spending time together. Little hands and wise hands worked side by side, turning simple supplies into beautiful keepsakes and even better memories.

A huge shout out and heartfelt thank you to the students, teachers, and staff for sharing your time, kindness, and smiles. You brought so much happiness to our residents, and that gift means more than words can say. 🍀✨

Intergenerational moments like these truly make our community shine. 💚

Our residents at Valhalla Post Acute enjoyed two well-coordinated Holiday Dinners on December 10 and December 11, filled with festive décor, meaningful moments, and a warm sense of togetherness. These special evenings provided residents with an enjoyable dining experience and an opportunity to celebrate the season in a welcoming atmosphere.

We extend our appreciation to the Dietary Department, Activities Department, and all Management Staff at Valhalla Post Acute for their collaboration and dedication in helping to plan and successfully run these events for our residents.

We are excited to welcome our resident families to join us for this year’s Holiday Dinner!
This event is for families only so we can ensure a warm, comfortable, and meaningful celebration for our residents.

📅 Dates: December 10th & December 11th
⏰ Seating Times:
• 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Each resident may have up to 5 family guests.

RSVP is REQUIRED to reserve your date and seating time.

📞 Please call our Reception Desk at 502-254-0009 by November 28th to secure your spot.

Reservations will be honored in the order they are received, so make sure to call early!
