As the year winds toward winter, November invites reflection. In a season often dominated by rushing, buying, and doing, slowing down to notice what’s here and to give thanks for it can feel radical.

At Yoga Baum, gratitude isn’t just a seasonal word. It’s how we move, rest, and connect in the pause before class begins, in the laughter afterward, and in every shared moment on the mat.

Modern research reminds us that gratitude really does change us by improving mental health, sleep, and even physical well-being (check our blog for the research links).

This month, practice gratitude as presence:

🕯️ join Candlelight Yoga (Mon 7:30-8:30 pm)
🌙 slow down at Restorative (Tues/Thurs 6:45-7:30 pm)
🧘 meditate on Saturday mornings (8:15-8:45 am)
✨ or come to our special Restore + Reiki event on December 6, 4:00-6:00pm

✨ Is Yoga Teacher Training Right for You? ✨

If you’ve ever rolled up your mat after class and wondered what it might be like to go deeper, to understand not just how yoga feels, but the why behind certain cues, principles, or positions, it might be time to explore teacher training.

At Yoga Baum, our 200-hour programs (Spring & Summer 2026) are designed for growth. You’ll learn, connect, and discover what yoga means to you, whether you dream of teaching or simply want to enrich your own practice.

🪷 Expect evidence-informed teaching, a supportive community, and space for genuine transformation on and off the mat.

✨ Applications are open now! Catch the early-bird deadlines while you can.

As we move toward Halloween and Samhain, the veil gets thinner and our inner voice grows louder. 🍂🔮

This season asks us to pause, reflect, and tune in, not just to the world around us, but to the wisdom within. At Yoga Baum, we hold space for that kind of quiet insight. In Moon Meetings, we journal, breathe, move, and use tools like Tarot to reconnect with what we already know.

✨ Feel the pull inward? Come to a Moon Meeting, a restorative class, or just take a few quiet breaths with us.

This season is made for turning inward.
