Instructor Chris Youssi joined Bellarmine Universityโs Juneja Nurse Anesthesia Program as Clinical Faculty in October 2024.
In August 2025, he expanded his role to include Didactic Faculty and Co-Clinical Education Coordinator, where he now supports both classroom instruction and clinical training for our nurse anesthesia residents.

I enjoy carpentry and have built much of the furniture we use in our home. I also love being outdoors, and if I can be near a body of waterโor even better, in that body of waterโIโm loving life. Most importantly, Iโm blessed with an amazing wife and three incredible children who fuel me, inspire me, and make me want to be the best version of myself. They are the source of so much of the joy, laughter, and smiles in my life.

There are many reasons why Bellarmine felt like an excellent fit for me. I appreciate the modest cohort sizes, which allow for a higher degree of direct faculty-student interaction and mentorship. The university has made a clear investment in building a program that develops excellent CRNAs. Through strong partnerships with local hospitals, our students gain exceptional clinical exposure that accelerates skill development and integrates classroom knowledge into real patient care. Our students also benefit from being the sole learners in their clinical settings, giving them comprehensive exposure to the most challenging cases and skills. I have deep respect for the faculty team that has come together to invest in the next generation of our profession, and I have seen the leadership of the university consistently support and champion their vision.
