The majority of my patients have sub optimal vitamin D levels and present with the same top symptoms, often thinking they are having hormonal imbalances. These symptoms include: fatigue, anxiety, depression and poor sleep. The main causes of low vitamin D for Americans are:
☀️ : insufficient sunlight due to spending the majority of our time indoors
💨: gut dysbiosis which leads to difficulty absorbing nutrients from our food
Vitamin deficiencies should be investigated and a root cause determined. But while you’re investigating, it’s important to supplement so you can start feeling better, sooner.

🐟 Fish (sardines, tuna, salmon)
🍳 Eggs (specifically yolks)
🐄 Organ meats (especially liver)
🍄🟫 Mushrooms
🥣 Fortified foods (cereals, milk, orange juice)
