CRHC Freedom Metals is looking for a laborer to join our team! Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operate Forklift
• Process Scrap material

The candidate must be able to lift 25 pounds, maintain a positive attitude, and be willing to work in ALL weather.
Ability (or willingness to learn) to operate a forklift.
Knowledge of metals is a plus, but not necessary.

Candidate MUST have excellent customer service skills, must be able to lift 25 pounds, maintain a positive attitude, and willing to work in ALL weather.

Operator Responsibilities:

• Performing pre/post-trip inspections
• Safe operation of tractor-trailers and other equipment as assigned
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch and Human Resources
• Will work 40 hours with overtime available
• Must have a Clean Driving Record
• Must be able to pass DOT physical exam and DOT Drug Screen
• Random Drug Screens
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Adaptability to handle unexpected situations
• CDL Operators work outdoors in hot, cold, rain, snow, and some potentially hazardous work environments.

CRHC Freedom Metals, LLC is currently looking for a mechanic to add to our team. We are a Scrap Recycling company located in Louisville, KY.

Job Description:
-Repairs and maintains a variety of diesel-powered equipment and vehicles.
-Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity is expected.
-Works under general supervision. Typically reports to supervisor or manager.
-Knowledge or experience with hydraulics is a plus
-Fabrication/Welding experience is a plus
-Provide your own tools.
-Job assignments require working where conditions may vary.

Required skills and experience:
-DOT Inspections
-Requires diesel mechanic experience
-Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, helpful to have vocational/technical training.
-Requires heavy truck or equipment related experience. (brakes, tires, etc...)
-Must have some familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within heavy trucks, or equipment fields.

Your schedule will be Mon-Fri and some Saturdays.
