Maryanna Wallace, LMT has now added Hot Stone Massage to her menu of services. Hot Stones are used as an extension of the therapist’s hands allowing the localized heat and weight of the stones to deeply warm and relax muscles, inducing groundedness. Stones also allow deeper pressure to specific areas without causing discomfort.

Hot Stone Massage appointments booked for the month of November will receive an introductory fee of $120.00 ($130.00 reg) for a 90-minute session.

Maryanna graduated from the Louisville School of Massage and received her massage therapy license in 2019. Her focus is on creating space for clients to relax and let go of the tensions our lives so readily create. Maryanna is a yogi with 20 years of practice which lead her to study massage therapy and continues to inform and inspire her massage practice. Along with traditional forms of massage therapy such as Swedish and deep tissue, Maryanna also specializes in hot stone and prenatal massage.

We hope this note finds you safe and healthy in this time of the Coronavirus. We wanted to reach out to you today to let you know where we stand with reopening. We have been in contact with the Massage Therapy Licensure Board and have been told,

“The Kentucky Board of Licensure of Massage Therapy and massage therapists do not fall under the reopening guidelines for chiropractic offices or other healthcare facilities.”

We were also informed that the Board is working with the Governor’s office to develop a plan and guidelines for when we are allowed to reopen our practice. We will keep you informed as we are instructed from our Board.
