Eva Marie Morse, LCSW,  Reiki Master In 2012 Eva completed her Reiki Master training and certification with Patrice Joy Masterson, and launched her own private practice of healing and teaching.

As her skills and desire to serve expanded, in the fall of 2015, Eva pioneered Baptist Health Louisville's first, outpatient integrative therapies program, providing Reiki Therapy to cancer patients and their caregivers at the Baptist Health Cancer Resource Center. In 2018 Eva graduated from the Kent School of Social Work with her Masters of Science in Social Work, and was awarded the Associate Dean for Research Award for her evidence based practice project on Reiki Therapy in Palliative and Hospice Care. Eva also had the incredible honor of presenting her research and expertise at the 34th Annual Conference of the Association of Oncology Social Work, Atlanta, GA. Since that time, Eva has been a featured speaker and educator on the topic of Reiki Therapy at the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work, UL Palliative Care Fellowship Conference, Gilda's Club Kentuckiana, Hosparus Health Louisville, and the Kentucky Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Conference. Throughout the years, Eva has had the opportunity to provide Reiki Therapy to patients and clients of all ages, races, and backgrounds, from children to the elderly. Eva has worked with clients with a variety of diagnoses, from mental health challenges to chronic and terminal illness, as well as, individuals seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and an improvement in their overall well-being. Eva has provided Reiki Therapy in numerous settings, including: hospitals (both inpatient and outpatient), assisted care and skilled nursing facilities, private practice, in-home and virtually. Currently, Eva is an Integrative Mental Health Therapist and Reiki Therapist with Bridge Counseling and Wellness. Eva seeks to provide care to clients that is personalized and tailored to their needs. She is passionate about making Reiki Therapy accessible and approachable to everyone. Eva's wide range of experience, expertise and skills ensures that her clients receive an experience which is above and beyond.

Bio & Credentials

Eva Marie Morse is a certified Reiki Master with over 7 years of experience providing Reiki Therapy in both private practice, and in multiple medical settings.

Eva graduated from the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work in 2018, with a Masters of Science in Social Work, specializing in Psychosocial Oncology. She is a Certified Social Worker, and brings her expertise in this area into her work as a Reiki Therapist, providing Reiki that is based not only in her many years of experience as as a Reiki Master, but also a strong foundation in research and evidence based practice. In addition to her work and training as a Reiki Master and Teacher, and Certified Social Worker, Eva is also an End of Life Doula, trained by the International End of Life Doula Association.

In September 2015, Eva pioneered Baptist Health Louisville's first, outpatient, integrative therapy program, providing Reiki Therapy to oncology patients and their caregivers. She has also worked with the University of Louisville Hospital Inpatient Palliative Care team, providing Reiki Therapy to palliative patients. Additionally, she works with Hosparus Health Louisville, providing Reiki Therapy to both adult and pediatric, palliative and hospice patients. Eva has been a featured Reiki Therapy educator, providing continuing education presentations at Hosparus Health Louisville, Gilda's Club Kentuckiana and the University of Louisville.

Eva has been a featured presenter at the 2018, AOSW national conference in Atlanta, Georgia, educating oncology social workers from across the country on the benefits of Reiki Therapy in cancer care. Eva's work is published in the AOSW Navigator and the Journal of Psychosocial Oncology.
