Donuts with the dudes was at Krispy Kreme this month. The gentlemen had an absolute blast enjoying sweet treats, swapping stories from their days in the military, and sharing lots of laughs. Mr. Frank even gave everyone a mini Spanish lesson—turns out donuts taste even better with a side of aprendizaje. What a fun morning full of memories and smiles!

A heartfelt thank you to our families who joined in and helped make each door so special—your creativity, time, and love truly made this event shine. Seeing families come together to decorate alongside our residents made the season even more meaningful.

Congratulations to our winner, Ms. Estelle, for her beautifully decorated door! ✨ We loved every festive entry and appreciate everyone who participated in spreading holiday cheer throughout our community.

Even with the temperatures dropping, our residents weren’t about to let a little chilly weather stop the fun. They decided to gather indoors for a lively game of co****le, and the laughter could be heard down the halls!

From friendly competition to cheering each other on, it was the perfect way to stay warm, stay active, and enjoy each other’s company. We love seeing our residents come together and make the most of every day—no matter what the weather brings.

Our residents have been feeling especially thankful lately as they enjoy meaningful visits with family and friends. There’s something truly special about the joy that fills our neighborhoods when loved ones come together to share stories, laughter, and connection.

In Artisans, residents and friends spent time painting festive autumn trees, creating beautiful works of art that reflect the colors and warmth of the season. The creativity, conversation, and companionship made the activity even more memorable.

We are grateful every day for our wonderful residents, the families who support them, and the community that surrounds us with so much love. 🍂🧡

Despite the gloomy weather, our residents lit up the day with smiles and laughter during our special trip to Churchill Downs for Senior Day. We were thrilled to spend the afternoon up in Millionaire’s Row, cheering on the horses, enjoying the excitement of the races, and even celebrating a few wins of our own! A few family members were able to join us, making the day even more meaningful.

This season, we were honored to celebrate one of our resident's most cherished traditions. For many years, he baked homemade fruit cakes and gifted them to friends and loved ones during the holidays.

To help make his transition into our community feel as close to home as possible, during Creative Cooking he taught us how to make one of his famous cakes, and he proudly served it at Happy Hour last Friday, sharing not just a recipe, but a piece of his story.

This week our residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Speed Art Museum for their Memories at the Museum program. We explored the beautiful exhibit featuring artist Vian Sora.
After touring the gallery, residents had the opportunity to create their own artwork, inspired by Sora's vibrant style. It was amazing to see how each person interpreted the colors, movement and emotion from the exhibit into their own paintings.
