In Ayurvedic studio we work with lots of herbal oils. Cleaning the space after each session is essential.

I tried several cleansing solutions that did not satisfy me fully to be able to have natural ingredients but still provide a proper cleanse.

Until I found a “Sacred space: cleansing and protection wash” from .alchemy. It is made of rosemary, thyme, lemon, basil, clove, frankincense, spikenard, himalayan salt and several more.

And it smells so good!

Thank you .alchemy for all your wonderful products and services.

We would like to introduce you to Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda

One of the Ayurvedic royal rejuvenating therapies that brings strength, nourishment and energy to the body.

“Shastika” means sixty in Sanskrit which refers to a special rare variety of rice with medicinal properties that matures in 60 days, “shali” means rice, “pinda” means boluses, “sweda” means sweating.

The Shashtika rice is cooked with herbal decoction of ten roots and milk and applied to the body via boluses tied up in a cotton cloth. Prior and post shastika shali pinda sweda, light abhyanga is performed with herbal oil. Ayurvedic sauna will enrich the experience at the end of a session.

The mild heat of rice boluses opens pores and let the herbs and rice pe*****te through the skin; it eliminates toxins, improves circulation and metabolism.

Shashtika shali pinda sweda is helpful for generalized body weakness and debility, muscular-skeleton disorders, arthritis, sciatica and cerebral palsy. It rejuvenates and relaxes the body, makes the skin incredibly soft and vital.

New service at “Moon-Veda“

One of the most authentic and traditional Ayurvedic treatments - 4-hand Abhyanga.

Rooted in the ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, Abhyanga is a ritual of self-love, beauty and renewal where the warm oil is applied from head to toe lubricating the entire body.

The herbal oils are chosen based on your Ayurvedic type and current imbalances.

Abhyanga is a form of Snehana (practices using the oil). In Sanskrit word “Sneha” means both oil and love. Abhyanga brings a feeling of stability, grounding and being loved.

Abhyanga lubricates the joints, nourishes the skin, improves circulation, helps to release accumulated toxins and balances the nervous system, delays aging process.

During 4-hand Abhyanga treatment, warm herbal oil flows on the skin by two practitioners simultaneously working on the left and right part of the body, on the head and feet.

“Moon-Veda” Ayurvedic studio provides 4-hands Abhyanga in collaboration with an Ayurvedic practitioner Sunita Vinod from “Praana Bloom”.

• Fennel •

Fennel is well known to all mothers around the globe as a remedy for colic in babies. But not many people know that it’s an effective herb for digestion for adults as well. And very safe, it has zero contraindications.

In Sanskrit “fennel” = shatapushpa, means “one hundred flowers”.

Fennel helps with any kind of tension and spasms: bowel, respiratory, menstrual or even mental.

It helps with digestive discomfort and spasms, by relaxing the abdominal muscles, giving the relief to bowel tension and gas accumulation.

Fennel can increase milk flow in nursing mothers, is also helpful with menstrual period’s tension and cramps.

The best way is to make warm fennel tea, or you can chew some roasted or fresh seeds after meals to assist the digestive process and avoid gas accumulation.

It gently warms and improves digestion process without bringing too much heat.

Combining fennel with cumin and coriander, you will get a famous ayurvedic CCF tea that has an excellent reputation for healthy digestion and gentle detoxification.

Consult with your Ayurvedic practitioner to find the best combination to serve you the best way.
