CARDINAL PRAYER ROOM(CPR) is stepping into the Creative space with a new project—CPR PLAYERS.
I share a heart for creatives with my new friend, Paris Howard. This prayer is for all of us who have and are and dream of stepping into our creativity.
We are all made in the image of the CREATOR and thus carry the imprint and ingenuity of YAHWEH’s creativity inside us! RELEASE! CREATE! Bring GLORY to GOD!

✨ A Prayer for Creatives ✨
This morning, the Lord gave me a burden to cover and pray for creatives. If you’re a creative, this is for you:
Father, I thank You for creatives. I thank You for those that You’ve birthed in the earth to be the expression of your creative genius. I thank You that you trust them with the first things. In the beginning, You created. I thank Youou that every creative person is loved and valued by You.
Father, I ask that every creative who feels outcast, unheard, misunderstood, and devalued know that they are valued by You. I pray that they would not feel condemned because their expression looks different than a sermon. I pray that they create again. I thank You that what You have given them is not limited to the Church. But You trust them with the ability to express their creativity in diverse ways while giving You the glory. I pray that the creative would not feel like a sellout. I pray that they would know that they are valued beyond what their hands, feet, or voice can do for certain institutions.
Father, I cover their mind and their heart. I speak peace to their mind when it seems like there’s creation overload. I speak courage to their heart when they feel burdened to birth a vision that no one else understands. I speak life into that unreleased song, poem, design, dance, play, or musical. I speak strength for that audition, recording, or composition submission. I thank You for reviving every dormant dream.
To you, Creative:
Write again. ✍🏾
Design again. 🎨
Audition again. 🎭
Compose again. 🎶
Create again. ✨
You are the very expression of the God’s creative genius in the earth. Express the mind of God again. Express the emotions of God’s heart. Express the handiwork of God. You are made in His image to reflect His image.
Thank You, Father, for letting the creatives know that you’re mindful of them. Thank You for letting them know that there is not only one avenue for expression. May everything they carry and create bring You glory.
Let your will be done in their lives, in Jesus name, Amen.
