In May, I’ll be leading a 12 hour Child Centered Play Therapy training at the Louisville Nature Center designed for therapists who want to strengthen their foundation and refine their skills in CCPT.
This training goes beyond theory. We will focus on:
• Understanding the core principles of CCPT
• Applying Axline’s approach with intention
• Strengthening core therapeutic responses
• Developing confident, consistent limit setting
• Exploring cultural considerations in the playroom
• Learning how to clearly explain CCPT to parents and caregivers
• Engaging in experiential practice and integration
You’ll leave with a clear framework, practical tools, and language you can use immediately in both the playroom and parent conversations.
We’ve partnered with Phoenix Preferred Care to provide 12 live, in-person CE hours for this training, including NBCC and APT credit.
