We spent a beautiful day at Jeffersontown Veterans Memorial Park, honoring the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. Surrounded by the park’s serene setting and powerful tributes. To make the day even more special, we gathered for a picnic lunch prepared by our talented chef, turning this outing into a celebration of both gratitude and togetherness. Moments like these remind us of the importance of connection—nourishing the mind with history, the body with good food, and the spirit with shared experiences.

To make the day even more special, we hosted a hobby fair down Main Street, where residents shared their amazing collections and favorite pastimes. Art and hobbies nourish the mind, strengthen the body through purposeful activity, and uplift the spirit with joy and self-expression. In honor of Veterans Day, we came together to celebrate and honor the brave men and women who served our country. Residents enjoyed a meaningful craft activity—creating patriotic keychains with beads as a symbol of gratitude and remembrance. Each keychain was more than just a craft—it was a heartfelt gesture, reminding us of the strength, sacrifice, and spirit of our veterans. Thank you to all who participated and to our veterans for your service. Your courage inspires our community every day!

This Veterans Day, our community gathered for a heartfelt celebration to honor the brave men and women who served our country. The event began with inspiring words from one of our managers, Stephen, setting the tone for a day of gratitude and reflection. The Color Guard presented the colors with dignity and respect, followed by a beautiful musical performance AcaBelles & Beaux , filling the room with harmony and pride. One of the most touching moments was the certificate ceremony, where each veteran in our community was recognized for their service and sacrifice. It was more than a celebration—it was a reminder of the values we hold dear at Village Crossing. To our veterans, thank you for your courage and dedication. You inspire us every day.

With over 40 years of experience, Mike wowed our residents with colorful illusions, comedy, and plenty of audience participation. One of our favorite moments? Watching Mike perform alongside our resident Elaine—a true highlight that brought smiles all around!

Spooky spirits and sweet surprises at Village Crossing’s Halloween Happy Hour! Residents celebrated in style with 24 door prizes, a lively costume contest, and fantastic live music that kept the energy high. We also announced the winners of our door decorating contest, adding even more excitement to the day. Everyone indulged in spooky witches’ brew cocktails and mocktails, along with a spread of Halloween treats that truly set the scene, prepared by our own Chef, Stephanie. It was a celebration full of laughter, creativity, and community spirit! At Village Crossing, we love turning holidays into unforgettable experiences—this one was a real treat!
