It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at VBH. Our children are engaged in crafting Christmas tree ornaments for their cabins. Our activity therapy team provides them with opportunities like these to feel comfortable and included despite being away from home during this time. We strive to make the Holiday season a positive experience for all of the patients we serve at Village Behavioral Health. Judging by these impressive ornaments, they are clearly having a great time.

Today we successfully concluded the annual Mental Health of East Tennessee’s Psychiatric Symposium. The past two days have been truly exceptional. Numerous attendees and vendors offering resources from acute care and residential to private practices and IOP/PHP programs were in attendance. Many distinguished presenters from around the country provided training for professionals to earn their required hours while enhancing care for their patients. This event is always a highlight of the year for mental health providers in Knoxville and throughout the state. We extend our gratitude to Ben Harrington for organizing another outstanding Symposium. We were honored to be one of the sponsors of this exceptional event.
