Hey, everyone! I haven't been around in a hot minute. I've been working hard and of course dedicating a lot of time to mushrooms! I hope you're all doing well, and that if you're not then that you're in the path. ✌️

Hey, everyone, I'm periodically aware that I've not been active on this page for quite some time! I've just been really busy with work, family, and, of course, honing my mushroom identification skills. Anyway, wishing you all so much resiliency as this pandemic continues. Here's a tune.

Depending where you mark the start of your pandemic concern, you're around the one year anniversary right now. It's not uncommon for anniversaries of traumatic events to being on changes in mood/anxiety and functioning. That's a lot to take right now on top of the fatigue and anticipation of ongoing stress from this ongoing pandemic. Try to get some good rest and drink plenty of water to rebuild or maintain your stamina and resiliency.

Your healing process may involve some intense moments of reflection and growth, but not all of the moments have to be difficult. Inviting your inner child to flourish and incorporating play into your process can be just as cathartic as the more painful parts of the journey!

Feeling ambiguous about being able to label exactly how you're feeling or why you're feeling it is natural, but it can be so frustrating and overwhelming. 🌧
Pema Chödrön has a wonderful suggestion for moments like this; “Rather than being disheartened by the uncertainty of life, what if we accepted it and relaxed into it? What if we said, “Yes, this is the way it is; this is what it means to be human” and decided to sit down and enjoy the ride?” 🌤
