The Bored Room

We don't sell a product, we sell a location in the form of daily, weekly or monthly memberships with Earphones should be used with all electronic devices.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Membership Privileges:

Members have complimentary access to wifi, unlimited coffee & spring water, custodial services, & limited office supplies such as a stapler, 3-hole punch, tape, pens, scissors, paper cutter, etc. A wireless color printer/copier is also available (not for bulk printing use - keep to 20 pages/day - additional printing/copying available for a small cost). A kitchen area is available with a fridge, microwave and limited dishware, for general use when not reserved by other members. Parcels can be accepted on your behalf during the hours of 9am-4pm. The entry door is locked after 4pm with keypad entry to provide security measures for our members. Noise Level:

Most of the time the atmosphere in The Bored Room is much like a library; however, short phone calls (4-5 minutes) and quiet conversation are permitted in the main room. For extended phone calls, there is a private room and a small "telephone booth" room (both available upon reservation), as well as a small patio area just outside the back door. If you need total quiet to work, please bring headphones for music or white noise. Private Offices (available for reservation):

Most of the shared space is made up of five computer desks and some seating in an open area (computers not supplied). There is also the kitchen area with a table and large chalkboard/cork board for general use or can be reserved for private meetings. We also have a private meeting room with a desk (seats up to 6 comfortably). In addition, we have what we call "The Telephone Booth", a small, private, nicely decorated room at the back of the building with a desk if you need a confidential, quiet space for a zoom meeting or a telephone call.

We replaced the door k**b at The Bored Room today. It hadn't been functioning properly.
If you are a user of The Bored Room in Loup City, we will provide you with the new door code. If you need it before we get to you, message us!
We were planning to change the door unlock code anyway due to recent unauthorized entry. The lock had begun to not work properly so it was time for a new door k**b.
If you don't already use The Bored Room, contact us for details. Services include office or meeting space rental by the day, week, or month, copying, and printing using your own computer or phone. All for an extremely low cost. And our keypad entry allows you to access The Bored Room at whatever time of day works best for you.

Did you know these things are part of your rent at The Bored Room? All types of office supplies, paper, and office tools.
Use them for free if you rent a temporary workspace...daily (24 hours) weekly, and monthly rates available.
5 desks/work areas available. 2 rooms that can be reserved if you need a private space to meet or work.
Only one working at The Bored Room? We have an end table with a Bluetooth speaker that you can play music through.
Reserving a room to meet several clients or customers throughout the day? The front door has a wireless doorbell that can be heard in the back so you know when your next person has arrived.
Just added: lockers with locks to leave your work items securely if you don't want to haul items home between work sessions.

Current providers, potential providers, and anyone who's business is affected by lack of daycare in the area should attend these meetings. This is just the start of big things being worked on to improve daycare availability in our area. Please attend and find out how you can be a part of solving this problem!

Reminder: Communities for Kids Orientation will be Tonight at 5:30 PM • We are excited to have them on this journey to increasing quality childcare availability in Sherman County! Anyone interested in the project is encouraged to attend and learn more.

New sizes of paper in stock for your printing/copying needs!
Prices under each picture - let us know if you are needing to print any of these sizes and we will make them available.
Again, these prices are just a couple cents above our cost for paper and ink. Rather than buying a whole package of paper when you are just needing a page or two, stop by or message us to sign up to access our copy/printing services.
COMPUTERS ARE NOT PROVIDED FOR PRINTING, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN. OBVIOUSLY A COMPUTER IS NOT NECESSARY FOR COPYING.
REMINDER: YOU MUST GET SIGNED UP TO GET DOOR ACCESS, WIFI PASSWORD, COPIER INSTRUCTIONS, ETC TO USE THE COPY SERVICES, IN AN EFFORT TO LIMIT ACCESS TO RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE AND AVOID ANY PROBLEMS WITH RANDOM PEOPLE GETTING THE ACCESS CODE AND CAUSING PROBLEMS. Need to make a copy or two? Got something you need to print in your email? But don't need to rent workspace for a whole day?
We are now offering PRINTER/COPIER SERVICES for just 20 cents per page, color OR black and white (8 1/2 x 11)
Best part is we can set you up so you can just come print or copy whenever is convenient for you.
Message us or call us and we will set you up with a door access code so that you can stop by whether we are there or not.
If you are wanting to print from your laptop, we will have to set you up with access to our wifi as well.
To pay for copies, simply drop your change in the dropbox by the copier. (Honor system!)
We are hoping this is a very reasonable service for our community - you don't have to pay for gas to drive an hour to pay much more than this per page. And the convenience of being able to drop by whenever you want is a plus.
If you need volume copies, different size prints, or different colors of paper, contact us so we can make arrangements to accommodate you.
You also have the ability to scan to email, which we can also help you set up.
