Minerals are essential for many reactions in the body. They are 'cofactors,' which assist our bodies in the processes of digestion, energy production, hormone production, and detoxification. They are also a key when it comes to hydration, they help suck water into your cells, so they are nice and plump like a grape (not a raisin).
We consume fewer minerals today, due to mineral-depleted soil, which leads to fewer nutrients in our foods. Plus we've increased consumption of processed foods, which are less mineral-rich.
Mixing up an adrenal cocktail (especially during times of stress), is a great way to replenish minerals in our system, and help our bodies to function properly.
