My Christmas present to myself was this continuing education lecture series all about TONGUE TIE. Tongue ties, or anatomical variations that reduce tongue function, can have a huge impact on bodyfeeding. This phenomenon has a lot of quickly emerging science, methods for evaluation, and best practices. Unfortunately there is also a lot of misinformation out there, preventing families from having the best experience possible with feeding their infants. It feels great to know I'm doing my due diligence to stay informed about this subject!
