The ideal candidate will enjoy a variety of duties at our multi-specialty surgery center, Monday through Friday day shift, 30-40 hours per week. Looking for a full time rad tech, certification and C-arm experience preferred. We are a multi-specialty surgery center providing care in ENT, orthopedics, spine, pain management and oculoplastics.

Job duties include:
Performs radiology technologist duties as needed, including: positioning patients, minimizing exposure time, operating C-arm, draping C-arm, storing images – while demonstrating proper skills needed to take care of radiology equipment.
Cooperates in a team whenever and wherever needed – always maintaining flexibility with a positive attitude.
Provides oversight for radiology safety, collects and turns in exposure badges, monitors for trends, schedules C-arm inspections and maintains documentation.
Provides a high level of customer service in a compassionate, caring manner.
Assists with properly positioning patients for comfort and safety as needed.
Assures that proper supplies, instruments, and equipment are available for the procedures.
Ensures that equipment is functioning properly.

Assists with stocking supplies in the OR’s, Sterile Storage, Sterilization Area, and Decontamination areas.
Assists Materials Management Coordinator on a routine basis and helps cover when needed.
Assists other members of the OR team with cleaning of rooms.
Assists in prepping the room for the next patient, including facilitating the changing of anesthesia equipment.
Seeks out continuing education opportunities and takes responsibility and initiative to complete.
Identifies actual and potential risks to patients and others, and acts to minimize/eliminate risks and maximize safety.
Awareness of correct procedures in case of an emergency, and locations of emergency call system.

Monitors use of supplies and inventory, and communicates appropriately.
