The Premier Pain Treatment Institute is one of the leading providers of pain management services in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. We specialize in the treatment of pain caused by chronic medical conditions and cancer. Our goal is not only to provide pain relief, but more importantly to improve quality of life. With every patient evaluation, we develop a comprehensive treatment plan that will optimize your ability to regain lost function and relieve physical and emotional distress. Your plan of care will be shared with your other healthcare providers and therapists to help coordinate a team approach that will provide you with the best possible outcome. The board certified providers at PPTI are expertly trained to treat a wide variety of painful conditions affecting the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. We treat many different disorders of the neck, mid back, and low back, including disc herniation, compressed nerves, and arthritis of the facet joints and sacroiliac joints. We offer cutting edge treatment options for arthritis and other conditions affecting the joints of the arms and legs. Common problems involving the nervous system that are commonly treated in our practice include Diabetic peripheral neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome, pain following shingles, and chronic nerve damage from injuries. Our providers also have innovative treatment plans for patients that continue to suffer from pain following surgery, including neck and back surgery and total joint replacements.

Staff Spotlight – Laura Cornelius, Surgery Coordinator

Laura Cornelius has been a part of Premier Pain for nearly as long as we’ve been seeing patients! She joined PPTI in January 2017, a short eight months after we opened our doors, and has been a vital part of our team ever since. As our Surgery Coordinator, Laura works tirelessly behind-the-scenes to guide patients through the many steps required to get approved and scheduled for surgery.

While the process can be complex and stressful, Laura stays motivated by the impact her work has on patients’ lives. As she puts it, “Knowing that when I schedule someone for a surgery it is getting them one step closer to the quality of life that they want and deserve.”

Outside of work, Laura relaxes by going to the beach (one of the perks of working remotely in Florida!), paddling, and rocking out to her favorite band, Cake.

Staff Spotlight – Taitum, Medical Assistant

Taitum joined Premier Pain in January of this year after completing a Certified Medical Assisting program at Brown Clermont Adult Career Campus. Taitum shares that her favorite thing at working at PPTI is the people, saying that, “Everyone is super welcoming and never makes me feel bad for asking questions.” She also loves having Fridays off each week.

Outside of work, Taitum loves hanging out with her family and taking trips to Five Below with her little sister while listening to Zach Bryan or Drake. Make sure to say hello to Taitum the next time you’re in our Loveland clinic!

Staff Spotlight – Zoe, Medical Assistant

Zoe joined Premier Pain in April of 2023 and will be celebrating her three-year anniversary with us in a couple of months! Prior to joining PPTI, she worked as a cook at the Old Y Restaurant. Her favorite thing about working at Premier Pain is getting to work with the same patients each month, building great relationships with them as she gets to know them all.

When not at work, Zoe loves to crochet and do any sort of crafting that she can get her hands on. She also has two adorable cats and a whopping 35 plants!

Blair joined Premier Pain earlier this month after working at DOCS Dermatology for two years. Among her many focuses are her love of the environment, crafting, and spending any time that she can outdoors. She’s also “big on family time” and love spending time with her two nieces and her cat, Chiquita.
