Sadie Lykins joined Premier Pain Treatment Institute in November 2023 and quickly became an invaluable part of our team. She serves as a Medical Assistant for Lindsay Link, PA-C, while also playing a key role as our Research Coordinator. Before coming to Premier Pain, Sadie worked at Cincinnati Foot and Ankle Care, bringing with her a strong clinical foundation and a passion for patient care. Her dedication and professionalism haven’t gone unnoticed. Lindsay Link, PA-C, shared, “Working with Sadie helps keep me sane. She is always professional, thorough and has exceptional rapport with patients. We’re lucky to have her on our team!”

What Sadie enjoys most about working at Premier Pain is the staff—the friendships, teamwork, and supportive environment that make coming to work rewarding. In her research role, she’s excited about the future and hopeful about expanding into additional research studies, helping Premier Pain continue to grow and innovate.

Outside of work, Sadie enjoys spending time with her dog, Drew, shopping at Target, and unwinding with a good book or a crime documentary. We’re grateful to have Sadie on our team and appreciate everything she brings to Premier Pain each day!

Staff Spotlight – Julia Starrett, Medical Assistant

Julia joined Premier Pain in July of 2023. In addition to working as one of our medical assistants in Mount Orab, she also helps to occasionally support our call center team. She loves how nice both the patients and staff are at PPTI.

When not at work, Julia spends time with her boyfriend and twelve animals, as well as working part time at Highland South Kitchen, where she’s worked since before joining Premier Pain.

If you see Julia around the office, make sure to send your biggest congratulations as she’ll be graduating as an LPN this Thursday!

Staff Spotlight – Edie Demasters

Edie joined Premier Surgical Institute in June of 2024, one month before PSI’s first surgery was performed. Before joining us as Administrative Assistant, she was a Buyer for Saica Pack, as well as Honeywell and Champion International, for a combined total of forty years.

Edie shares that her favorite thing about working at PSI is seeing the improvement of pain for the patients and the improvements to their overall lifestyles. “I love the interaction with the patients,” she said while reflecting on past cases.

Outside of work, Edie loves gardening in one of her thirteen gardens, walking her pup, Roscoe, and making wreaths and other flower arrangements for her friends and family… likely while listening to her favorite band, Bon Jovi.

Dr. Wesley Youngblood of Premier Pain Treatment Institute performing a Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to heat and destroy abnormal tissue. RFA procedures are commonly used to treat chronic pain by guiding a probe to the target area, using radio waves to create heat that damages or destroys the targeted cells or nerves.

Staff Spotlight - Emily Williams, Medical Assistant

Emily joined Premier Pain Treatment Institute as a medical receptionist in 2023, traveling to our different locations and helping to open our Middletown office when it was brand new. She left briefly to work as an Admin Assistant and Medical Records Specialist at Harmony Cares Home Health, bringing with her seven years of STNA experience in nursing homes.

Since returning to Premier Pain, Emily has taken on the role of Dr. Wesley Youngblood’s medical assistant. She shares that her favorite thing about working at PPTI is getting to be part of making each patient’s life better, seeing their progress, and hearing their success stories. She also shares that she loves her “amazing coworkers who endlessly support each other.”

When not at work, Emily can be found helping her boyfriend with his new business, spending time with her family, listening to music, reading, or hanging out with her chickens Henrietta and Dolly.
