Magnolia Springs Loveland served 350 residents and families during our 2025 Christmas dinner. Chef Eric's menu included Carved New York strip loin, glazed ham, dauphinoise potatoes, mixed vegetables, haricot vert green beans, shrimp cocktail, brownie bites and macaroons. Everything was delicious. Thanks to everyone for joining us!

The kind folks at ScoopAble ice cream sent us eight ice cream Advent calendars. Each box contained a sample of 25 different flavors, with hints to help name them. Our AL residents tried each flavor and wrote their answers.

After the 25 samples, Belinda won with 16 correct answers. Donna came in second with 13. Next week, we plan to use the remaining 5 boxes for our Memory Way neighborhood. Everyone loves ice cream!

We have been very creative! Rachel Demir (Creative Aging Cincinnati) helped residents make decorative colored salt jars. Earlier in the week, Suzanne Bryan from Fly Jewel Painting (Sponsored by Home Instead) led a class where residents painted festive Christmas ornaments.

We had our Residents' Family Christmas Party Wednesday night, and it was a blast! Tammy Powell rocked the house with Christmas tunes, while Matthew and Kenny served up hot chocolate from our cocoa bar. Our residents donned crazy Christmas glasses and had their photos taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus (and baby goats, thanks to Leya from Gilliam's Greenish Acres).

Magnolia Springs Loveland celebrated Thanksgiving with our annual family dinner! The event took place last Friday, November 21st. The team at Queen City Hospice hosted a Veteran's Recognition ceremony on Tuesday. We currently have 22 veterans residing at Magnolia Springs Loveland. Each was gifted a certificate, a small flag and a veteran's pin. We are proud to thank these residents for their service to our country!
