Dr. Heather Schulte is offering 3-30 min meditation sessions in the next 3 months. The classes are a good fit for beginners and regular meditators alike. Those who have interest in centering or contemplative prayer are also welcome to join. The class incorporates a short check-in, a guided meditation, and a discussion on a topic such as self-compassion, Tonglen-a practice designed to send those suffering kindness, divine practice of self awareness and more. Depending on what the group talks about, Dr. Schulte will fold ideas that are shared into the guided meditation offered. The practice and connection through community are designed to develop a sangha-group connections that allow each of us to share the wisdom all people have which deepens our collective wisdom. Please reach out if you have questions or want to register. schulte101@ymail.com

I’ve worked with many victims of domestic violence. When individuals need help to begin living their lives differently, communities can offer relief when it seems there is no way forward.

I’ve recently joined the board of Friends of A Woman's Place in order to support the growth of such vital resources in our community, the very places that have been my sigh of relief to connect clients to.

Please consider donating to this award winning organization or attending the Gala to support

A Woman's Place, Inc.

You’ll be honoring some amazing women while you support programming that will help lift others.

There’s still time to register for our meditation class this Saturday⭐️💛☀️

This month we have a special guest offering our guided mediation.

This session we are honored and delighted to welcome Karina Lange as co-facilitator. Just as we explore meditation through different practices, we may learn and resonate with different facilitators too! For those who have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Karina, we’d like to share a bit about her.

Karina is a mindfulness meditation facilitator with the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) whose experience focuses mainly on community and employee in-person drop-in meditation sessions. Karina holds a master’s degree in Human Relations and her area of interest lies mainly in trauma-informed mindfulness practices.
