Ohio Valley Voices was proud to participate in the Hear Indiana Conference in Indianapolis on Friday, October 24th!

Our Special Programs Director, Meredith Craven and audiologist Rachel Wade presented: Supporting Independence: Setting Up Kids for Success on Their Journey to the Mainstream.

Meredith also teamed up with our Instructional Specialist, Kristen Haught, to present: Literacy Across the Curriculum with Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

On Monday, October 13th, Ohio Valley Voices had the opportunity to participate in the OSSPEAC Conference in Columbus, OH. Audiologist Rachel Wade and Family Center Coordinator Leslie Raulie presented Early Identification, Intervention and Family Supports for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Kids.

🐴✨ What an unforgettable day at Derbyshire Stables! On Sunday, October 12, our current families and alumni came together for an Alumni Monthly Meet-Up filled with laughter, fresh air, and horseback adventures.

From riding majestic horses to reconnecting with old friends, the stables were alive with joy and community spirit. 🌟

Our Executive Director, Maria Sentelik, and Special Programs Director, Meredith Craven, presented on the development of Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) and literacy skills for children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

We are grateful to the conference organizers and attendees for the opportunity to share our expertise.
