S.O.S (Susan, Olivia & Steve) is a musical trio of residents here at Affinity at Loveland in. Their musical style as Classic Americana with an eclectic mix of songs ranging from folk to blues to songs from our late idol John Prine whose music is the epitome of the Americana genre.
What started as just a desire to share our love of music with our fellow friends and residents has evolved into a platform for providing help (SOS) to local charities. The group doesn't play for pay, but we do have regular concerts with requests for donations.
Olivia, one of the resident group's members say, "Our fellow residents and friends have been very generous. This has resulted in providing us the honor of presenting these donations to several deserving charities. In these difficult financial times, charities need our help more than ever. We also donate all profits from sales of t-shirts and a CD/flashdrive collection of songs."
Since the inception of the band in 2025, they are delighted to report that as of this date we have raised around $3500 for various local charities including Food Bank for Larimer County, NOCO Humane, Alternatives for Violence – Loveland, The Sister Carmen Community Center in Lafayette, Ensight Skills Center for Visual Rehabilitation, and our latest, Meals on Wheels – Loveland and Berthoud.
Another example how residents here at Affinity at Loveland are vibrant, involved and are an important part of this community they call home!
