We have an exciting update! In addition to accepting Optum/United, Aetna, and Cigna, we are now accepting BCBS!

For those of you who are new here, Safe Haven Family Therapy is a group practice, supporting the entire family, ages 3 and up. We are a team of 4 women, with varying specialties. Some highlights include, EMDR, brain spotting, neurodivergence including autism and ADHD, child and teen therapy, family therapy, couples, perinatal/postpartum mental health, grief and loss, as well as Christian based services. We offer both in person and virtual, including evenings and Saturdays. We are so excited to support you and those you love with all of your mental health needs!

More often than not, couples come to couples therapy stating that they simply do not connect anymore or feel distant from one another. For many of these couples, even on dates, the disconnection remains. Why would this be? How do we connect with our partner over the years, staving off boredom and emotional distance? We are here to help!

Join my colleague, Dr. Greg Seibert, LMFT, and I as we dive into disconnection in couples. We provide signs that may signal a chasm is growing, pitfalls to avoid, and ways to reconnect and deepen your relationship, no matter how long you have been together. No couple is immune to relationship splintering, but with consistent effort and a little bit of spontaneity, this doesn’t have to be the case!
