In the traditional "fee for service" model of medicine, finding a doctor that you can trust and build rapport with can be a challenge. With 10-15 minute appointment times it's difficult for a provider to even to address the concerns that you have, much less get to know you as the unique person that you are. It might even be a challenge to see YOUR doctor, as often they become so busy that you may have to see their PA or NP instead.
