This body of work has been years in the making. At last, she is ready for you to see!

Her Temple is a sanctuary for the healing of trauma in the body, mind, heart, and womb.

After being sexually assaulted and healing from severe PTSD, I knew in my bones I had to create this platform. It is my activism. It is my life’s work. It’s how I continue to heal.

In the past few years, my work (professionally and personally) has pivoted sharply to somatic, embodied trauma healing.

What I’ve found and experienced is truly how POWERFUL it is to allow the somatic wisdom within my own body to organically lead me through healing.

Sound, language, and voice are SO powerful for transformation. Through voice, we have the power to speak our reality into being.

Tomorrow is my birthday, and grief is present.

This is a grief that re-emerges almost every year.

It's the grief of being such an expansive, bright, playful Soul born into a world with so much contraction. Being a limitless Soul born into a human body with many limitations that I can't wish away.

Maybe you can relate?

A teacher of mine once said "there are Souls banging on the door of creation BEGGING to experience this gift we call human life."

The contraction is the point. It's where we get to experience ourselves more deeply.

It's hard to remember sometimes, but this grief is a gift. It teaches me and reminds me of who I truly am - beyond my limitations and contractions. It reminds me of the love from where I was born, and where I will return to.

It reminds me of the limitless Love that exists inside of my DNA. And it teaches me to be gentle with myself around the expectation that this love is something I'm supposed to feel all the time.

So tomorrow I celebrate the journey my Soul chose to take into this physical reality. I celebrate the body I was given to experience my life. And I also celebrate the journey these past 26 years have led me on - through many cycles of expansion and contraction, of remembering and forgetting. And I celebrate learning to unconditionally love my FULL self, limitations and all.πŸ’›

It's the time of year to think about cleansing again!


I know, I can't believe we're almost to fall yet either. 🍁😯 What a weird, trippy year this has been.


This seasonal juncture is the ideal time for cleansing, boosting immunity, and releasing pent up stress, toxicity, and inflammation from the tissues - which my body could definitely use right about now! πŸ₯£

π“π¨ππšπ²'𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐀: give yourself an oily self massage. Use long strokes on your limbs and circular motion on your joints. Gently and lovingly work your way from your extremities to your heart. Touch yourself lovingly and with careπŸ’†πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
Self lymphatic massage is an Ayurvedic practice used to help nourish the skin, muscles, bones, and deeper tissues of the body. It helps drain stagnant fluid from the lymph, which is the detoxifying drainage system of the body. When the lymph is backed up, we can experience more menstrual cramping, brain fog, a weakened immune response, poor digestion, and inflammation in the body.
This technique is equally beneficial to the heart and mind. The simple act of lovingly bringing our hands to our own bodies is healing and nourishing for body image and self-esteem. Self-massage increases our sense of inner beauty, acceptance, and love. It is also VERY balancing for the sensory nervous system to experience pleasurable touch. Hello, oxytocin & dopamine πŸ₯°
I do this practice daily, upon waking or right before before bed. Use an organic, cold-pressed oil based on your dosha and the season.
πŸ‚Sesame Oil for late autumn/winter and vata dosha (warming and grounding qualities)
πŸ₯₯Coconut Oil for summertime/early autumn and pitta dosha (cooling and refreshing qualities)
🌷Safflower Oil for late winter/springtime and kapha dosha (light and warming qualities)

How do you talk about yourself, to yourself?
Are you in the habit of negative self talk and critical thinking? It's a rabbit hole that is soooo easy to get sucked into and so hard to get out of.πŸ‡ We are often harder on ourselves than we ever would be on anyone else.
If I'm not conscious of it, I tend to judge myself HARD and be super self critical. Today's practice is one I could probably benefit from doing every week. I always feel more aligned and self-compassionate afterwards.
Today is an opportunity to not just stop negative self talk, but actually talk to yourself sweetly and build yourself UP!🌸

Let's practice speaking to ourselves as we would speak to someone we deeply love and appreciate.
Take a moment and look at yourself through the eyes of unconditional love and compassion. Take a breath and let go of all self judgement. Then grab a paper and pen, and write yourself a sweet love note.
Consider the following prompts while writing your letter:
