June 15, 2005 - 17 years ago a couple of guys created what I happen to think is an amazing place. A place for our parents, grand parents, great grandparents and sometimes even ourselves. For those folks that just needed some extra help to get back home after surgery, or recover from something traumatic or just maybe just needing some time to gain back some strength to get back to their "old selves". Our vision and mission is to get our patients back home. It's like the good 'ol saying, you don't have to go home but you can't stay here. I kid, but it's true. Our main focus is to assist and teach our patients how to be as independent as they can be and return to their lives, if they are able. Our patients put in hours of hard work to regain what they have lost. I tell my patients all the time that we have some amazing teachers (therapists) but the patient is doing all of the work, they are putting in the time and effort because they do not want a facility to be where they call "home". After 17 years we have had the honor to care for so many patients, some are families from local celebrities, local IDPH loved ones, local political individuals, local and not so local doctors, even other nursing facility leaders have chosen to bring their loved ones to us to get them back on their feet. What an honor! It is an honor and a blessing to be able to serve our local community for all these years. We will continue to do this community proud and keep fighting through all that is going on in this world. We fight and will keep going for our patients. Thank you for 17 wonderful years!
