LYFE Nutrition Krystal Bolduc; Functional Integrative Health Practitioner, Helping women move from a Body at War to Body at Peace.

Root-cause healing through nourishing the body with nutrition, detoxification and mindset shifting.
✨Romans 12:1-2 Hi, I’m Krystal Bolduc, Integrative Health Practitioner, Food Therapist, and founder of LYFE Nutrition (Living Your Full Experience). For decades, my own body carried the weight of autoimmune disease, PCOS, Hashimoto’s, and lupus. I know what it feels like to live in the constant battle of fatigue, inflammation, and food/ diet/ body obsession. But I also know what it feels like to be free. By choosing to heal through whole food, detoxification, and deep soul work, I released over 100 pounds of weight and inflammation, reversed my conditions, and stepped into a life of vitality, strength, and joy. Now, my mission is to help women do the same. At LYFE Nutrition, I teach you how to end the war with food and body once and for all. Together, we uncover the root causes of weight gain, fatigue, hormone imbalance, and digestive distress not just so you can feel better for a season, but so you can thrive for life. My approach weaves together the three pillars of LYFE Nutrition:

Nutrition: Eating real, whole food that supports energy, longevity, and healing. Detoxification: Releasing toxins and restoring balance at the cellular level. Spiritual Alignment: Renewing the mind, breaking free from diet culture, and reclaiming your God-given identity. I believe healing isn’t just about losing weight or fixing symptoms it’s about reclaiming your power, your peace, and your purpose. I am honored to walk beside you as you discover that freedom is possible, and that your body was created to heal. This is your invitation to step out of survival and into LYFE.

You didn’t just wake up one day and your body decided to go haywire and revel against you with weightgain and random symptoms. Your body has been watching, listening, learning for decades.

What you ignored at 20 catches up at 40.

What you’ve been teaching it is now showing up loud and clear.

We’ve got to move past symptom control (yes, weightgain is a symptom too) and get to the root cause. Every person is different, there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to the protocol. 🤍

Marked safe ❌ from not dying from protein deficiency. Anyone else?!

Somewhere along the way we became a protein-aholic culture and here we are chasing grams of protein like it’s some health sport.
You can’t open Instagram, or sit through a podcast without someone warning you that you’re probably “not getting enough protein.”
Walk into a grocery store…
Protein cereal. Protein water?! Protein bars. Protein cookies. Protein coffee. Protein everything!!

If you’re overweight, sick or hormonal the answer is simple!! “EAT MORE PROTEIN!” 🙄🙄

MEANWHILE, the longest living populations in the world, the Blue Zones, dON’t build their diets around hitting 120 grams of protein before noon. They build their diets around plants.

Yes… Beans. Lentils. Greens. Vegetables. Potatoes.
Whole grains. Nuts. And the occasional animal protein.

The IRONY IS that in a culture obsessed with protein, we are still dealing with skyrocketing rates of heart disease, metabolic hormonal dysfunction, and chronic illness.

The TRUTH.. is when we eat a diet in diverse nutrient-dense plant foods, the protein comes along for the ride. Plants contain protein. Sure, we need to be intentional, but not obsessed!

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is step outside the noise, put down the protein bar and cottage cheese and eat a bowl of veggies, rice and beans. 🌱

Turns out… the secret to longevity was never a protein shake… but dinner from the garden.

Binge eating isn’t simply about discipline. It often comes from not getting enough nourishment during the day and feeling disconnected from internal cues. When the evening finally slows things down, everything hits at once.

As shared in the episode, it’s not only emotional — it can be biological.
That’s when the cycle of guilt and starting over begins, while still not listening to what the body actually needs.

With all the talk about glyphosate, I hope this is helpful! One of the biggest things you can do is prioritize organic groceries, especially for the foods known to have higher glyphosate levels. Studies show that just doing that will significantly cut down your exposure level! The next thing I would recommend is a really good water filter! I like reverse osmosis for my drinking water because it is the highest level of filtration and easy to have at home.

Dave’s killer bread is on here simply because it has come up recently in reports. Yes it’s lower than many for sure. But if I’m gonna spend extra on organic I would rather spend it on one that was undetected if I have the option! It IS still a better option than many but I always choose Ezekiel bread or homemade organic sourdough whenever possible!

**See the comments** Let’s replace control with support. The reframe.

A lot of times, when sugar or a sweet tooth comes up, the instinct is to add more control, lock in harder. But the body is actually asking for support in some way. not more discipline, not more restriction. That shift is the little reframe that can change everything when it comes to cravings.

Your liver detoxes every single second of every single day.

The question isn’t whether you need a “liver cleanse.”

The question is:
Is your liver supported… or overwhelmed?

In clinical practice, we don’t guess. We look at symptoms.

Cravings.
Fatigue.
Hormone imbalances.
Skin breakouts.
Constipation.
Mood swings.

These are not random things but downstream symptoms.

Did you know:
The liver is responsible for:
• Processing hormones (especially estrogen)
• Neutralizing environmental toxins
• Breaking down medications
• Regulating blood sugar
• Supporting digestion and bile flow

When detox pathways (Phase 1 + Phase 2) are under-supported, the body compensates and shows up as symptoms.

Real detox is not about starving, juicing for 3 days, or chasing trends.

It’s about:
• Providing the right nutrients (amino acids, minerals, antioxidants)
• Improving drainage (bowel movements, sweating, hydration)
• Reducing toxic load
• Managing stress (cortisol directly impacts liver function)
• Supporting the gut-liver connection

If you’re experiencing 3 or more of the symptoms in this post, it may be time to stop and look at running a functional medicine detox so you can get your body to a place where detoxing can happen naturally again.

I always say:
Detoxing must become a lifestyle by removing the obstacles so your body can detox itself. Remove toxicity- Replace deficiency.

And most people don’t even realize this is happening in their own body every single day.
Thinking you are craving all these foods because you lack discipline, or self control is not the full story.
You’re craving because you lack nutrients.

Here’s what actually happens:
When you eat meals that are low in minerals, vitamins, healthy fats and protein (even if they’re high in calories) your body goes into biological panic mode.
It keeps sending hunger signals because it’s trying to get what it’s missing.

You can feel “full”…
but your cells can still be starving.

That’s why:
• you keep snacking
• you crave sugar
• you never feel satisfied
• you constantly think about food (hello, food noise)
• your energy crashes
• you over-eat without even wanting to
• your appetite feels “out of control”

Your body isn’t malfunctioning, it’s communicating.
Cravings are not a lack of willpower. They’re a lack of nutrients.

The moment you start eating foods rich in minerals, antioxidants, omega-3s, fiber and micronutrients, your body FINALLY stops begging.
Just after a few days of flooding your body with goodness your hunger regulates, mood stabilizes, your cravings calm down. Over time your portion sizes naturally balance without forcing anything.✨
Nourishment has the ability to repair the food war within so you can finally feel the peace you once knew.

Most chronic illness is not as complicated as we’ve been taught.
The diagnosis may look different…
but the root pressures underneath are often the same.

Nearly every chronic condition is driven by three core burdens:
1. Nutrient depletion
When the body is missing the minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and fats it needs to regulate, repair, and rebuild, dysfunction follows.
2. Toxic overload
Chemicals, mold, heavy metals, parasites, yeast, and chronic infections drain the body’s resources and disrupt its natural balance.
3. Stress, trauma, and survival physiology
Emotional and physical stress shifts hormones, raises inflammation, depletes nutrients, and keeps the nervous system stuck in protection mode.

Where these burdens land determines the symptoms.
One person develops IBS.
Another develops eczema.
Another develops autoimmunity.

The label changes but the underlying pressures often do not. The body expresses imbalance through its most vulnerable system and remember, the body is a whole, these forces never act alone.

Deficiencies weaken detoxification.
Toxins block absorption and metabolism.
Stress suppresses repair while driving inflammation.
It’s a vicious cycle.

This is why so many people “crash” when they finally slow down. The body was compensating… until it couldn’t anymore.

Healing IS NOT about forcing the body.

It’s about supporting the systems that already know what to do IN THE RIGHTORDER.

Nourish deeply.
Reduce toxic burden.
Regulate stress and stored trauma.
Restore the terrain.

Takeaway:
A nourished body releases what does not belong. Your body is already cleansing, repairing, and rebuilding every single day.
Symptoms are not malfunctions, they are intelligent signals.

Healing begins when you stop fighting your body…
and start rebuilding what it needs to thrive.

Knowledge changes relationship
