Hi, I’m Krystal Bolduc, Integrative Health Practitioner, Food Therapist, and founder of LYFE Nutrition (Living Your Full Experience). For decades, my own body carried the weight of autoimmune disease, PCOS, Hashimoto’s, and lupus. I know what it feels like to live in the constant battle of fatigue, inflammation, and food/ diet/ body obsession. But I also know what it feels like to be free. By choosing to heal through whole food, detoxification, and deep soul work, I released over 100 pounds of weight and inflammation, reversed my conditions, and stepped into a life of vitality, strength, and joy. Now, my mission is to help women do the same. At LYFE Nutrition, I teach you how to end the war with food and body once and for all. Together, we uncover the root causes of weight gain, fatigue, hormone imbalance, and digestive distress not just so you can feel better for a season, but so you can thrive for life. My approach weaves together the three pillars of LYFE Nutrition:

Nutrition: Eating real, whole food that supports energy, longevity, and healing. Detoxification: Releasing toxins and restoring balance at the cellular level. Spiritual Alignment: Renewing the mind, breaking free from diet culture, and reclaiming your God-given identity. I believe healing isn’t just about losing weight or fixing symptoms it’s about reclaiming your power, your peace, and your purpose. When you realize there's no dysfunction in the body, it can transform your perspective on healing.

In conversations about health, terms like mitochondrial dysfunction, hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue, fertility issues and, in some cases weight gain, are thrown around as if the body is malfunctioning. But your body isn't broken and it hasn't made errors.

What some label as "dysfunction" is often a display of wisdom. It’s a pause, a slowdown, a redirection, energy conservation, or a protective mechanism. Your body prioritizes survival over performance.

Consider your organs and cells filled with toxins and lacking in essential nutrients, can they function optimally regardless?
Or hormones and aging impacted by a congested liver, an inflamed gut, and constant stress hormones… should it work flawlessly anyway?

The body isn’t a machine that fails. It is a divine masterpiece. Each cell, each signal, each moment of rest is intentional.

Think of a car engine.
Remove the fuel, does it have fuel dysfunction?
Neglect oil changes, does it have oil dysfunction?
Leave it clogged, does it have clog dysfunction?
No, the engine remains perfect; it’s the maintenance that isn't.

Your body requires the same.
Micronutrients, minerals, amino acids, clean water, oxygen, movement, a balanced nervous system, and protection from toxins are essential.
Create conditions that enable energy, rather than criticizing your body for conserving it.

Fatigue isn't dysfunction, it's energy conservation.
Infertility isn't dysfunction, it's a protective pause.
Brain fog isn't dysfunction, it's prioritizing survival over intellectual performance.
Your body is constantly chooses life.

By lifting the toxic load, providing the right nutrients, supporting liver function, enhancing detoxification, replenishing minerals, and soothing the nervous system, perceived dysfunctions fade, allowing genuine functionality to return.

Your body doesn't fail, but we fail to understand its unique language.
Your body, a brilliant creation, deserves understanding and support for optimal health.

Putting this here just in case you need to check!
If you are taking good quality supplements (not from a big box store) it’s often not the supplements that are broken.
But… your timing might be.

In functional nutrition, WHEN you take a supplement can matter just as much as what/ how much you take.

Absorption, synergy, competition, circadian rhythm, digestive capacity, and nutrient pairing all influence whether your body actually uses what you’re giving it.

This cheat sheet reflects foundational principles I use in practice:
• Fat-soluble vitamins need fat
• Minerals can compete for absorption
• The nervous system responds differently morning vs evening
• The gut microbiome responds to timing & environment

More isn’t always better.
If supplements feel like they “don’t work,” it’s often not the supplement, it’s the context.

Save this. Revisit it.
And remember: supplements support the body. They don’t replace a junked up food intake or lifestyle.

Psssttt... Reminder...
We are not waiting for Monday, we are not waiting until January. We are starting NOW with simply the NEXT choice. Preparing, respecting, restoring, leveling higher, building momentum NOW.

A client sat across from me a few weeks ago and said, “Before the party even started, I woke up and couldn’t stand my reflection. It felt like my whole holiday was ruined before it even started.”
She wasn’t talking about weight. She was talking about the shame spiral so many women know. The checking, the changing outfits 3 times, the quiet panic that comes from feeling at war with your own body.

I told her what I wish someone had told me decades ago:
“You don’t have to love your body today. You just have to stop waging war on it.”

So she is practicing something different.
Instead of fixing, she’s pausing.
Instead of spiraling, she’s breathing.
Instead of attacking herself, she’s asking, “How can I respect my body IN THIS moment?”
Her life didn’t magically shift in that one moment… but her relationship with herself is in the process. Inch by inch, softness replacing self-surveillance.

When we name the cycle we keep getting pulled into: body checking.
Looking in every mirror. Pinching. Adjusting. Comparing. Zooming in on photos.
Each check increasing the anxiety, and each wave of anxiety pulling us back to check again.
A loop. A trap. A nervous system living on edge.

When she finally realized that body checking wasn’t “awareness”,” but it was policing and being the voice of an enemy that wants nothing more than to steal her peace and her empowerment.
Naming the cycle gives you power.
And interrupting it, everytime it speaks, quiets the war just a little.
(This is the “work” of ending our “Body at War”)

It’s Holiday season ladies, stay aware. We no longer allow the wage for war.

We’ve been told for decades that weight and metabolic health come down to a simple equation.
Eat less. Move more.
Calories in, calories out.
Easy peasy! And IF IT DOESN’T work, “then you’re broken or you’re lying.” (Former trainer of mine)

If that were true, don’t you think we would have solved this overweight epidemic by now?

What we missed is that food is NOT just fuel!
It’s information.
Every bite speaks.
The timing of your meals influences your circadian rhythm.
The frequency of eating sets an entirely different internal hormonal environment.
Your body isn’t counting calories it’s counting;
Chemical signals
Inflammatory impact
Metabolic demand

So yes, the TRACK, measure, TRACK- “eat less, move more” model sells AND IT may work!
Until it doesn’t anymore.
Over time this strategy tanks your metabolism, forces your body into chronic stress, and traps you in a lifetime cycle of dieting down on the same broken formula.

The real shift happens when you teach your body how to burn fat rather than simply lose mass.
When you become metabolically flexible (able to switch between fuel sources with ease) your entire system begins to work for you, not against you.

If you’re exhausted from repackaged programs and ready to retrain your metabolism back into true flexibility, this is your invitation.

Your body can heal.
