📣SEVERE DRIVING CONDITIONS ADVISORY📣
Highways 18, 82, 83, 457, 206, 483 are now under a severe driving conditions advisory. Roads are snow packed and icy, and heavy snow can significantly reduce visibility.

We will be monitoring highway travel and keeping this post updated with any future road closures coming into, or close to our community during this weather event.
NM Dot, and Lea County Roads department as well as many organizations in the oil industry have been keep our roads safe by using salt and brine.

NM Dot, and Lea County Roads department as well as many organizations in the oil industry have been keep our roads safe by using salt and brine. They have been notified and are in process of coming and adding another layer.
The City of Lovington - an ice blanket has started forming inside the community, it is getting slicker. Units from the city are in progress of adding salt to many of the intersections on the main roads to help. Drive with caution.

82 (West towards Artesia)
82 (East towards Plains)
83 (East towards Denver City)
380 (West towards Roswell from Tatum)
206 (Towards Tatum)
18 (Towards Hobbs)
