Hearts Desire warming station is currently in need of heaters as ours are struggling to maintain optimal temperatures. If you have any spare heaters you could lend us, we would greatly appreciate it.

Our night at the warming station was a notable success, despite having only three residents join us. Each individual was significant, and I am delighted they felt warm, safe, and sheltered from the streets. I would like to express sincere gratitude to our exceptional volunteers who donated their time this weekend; they embody compassion. Special appreciation is extended to Melva Lujan and Nor Lea, as well as to those who generously donated blankets and snacks - their kindness is heartwarming. Lovington is truly radiant today, and I am extremely proud. I also acknowledge our Mayor, Robbie Roberts, and appreciate the evident love and care for our town. Thank you again we still have a couple of days to go.

Hearts Desire will be opening a warming station starting Friday at 6:00pm and it will operate through Monday morning. We will provide food courtesy of Nor Lea Hospital. If you know anyone in need of a warm and safe place, please direct them to 1109 South Main. We are still in need of volunteers if only a couple of hours. Please contact

Well, we are finally here! It has taken us a minute, but we have our beautiful Hearts Desire Furniture and Country Store open!
We are located at 119 West Ave. D in Lovington and have actually been here for 20 years. We did a two month renovation in the back and we would love for you to come and support this charity! The work has been done by our director, volunteers and women from the recovery home!

There is much more to come as we have not been able to get out our linens yet, Easter, Valentine, and other holidays. But they are coming.

We will open at 10 AM and hope to see you here!
Prices are very fair and will be revealed at the store.

Heart's Desire Thrift will be closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, reopening on the 2nd. We appreciate the community's ongoing support of our ministry.

Being part of this Mission is truly fulfilling as we serve warm meals to those in greatest need. We encourage anyone in need of a meal to join us every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30.

Hearts Desire Thrift Store and Christmas Store will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for Thanksgiving. We will be back open Friday morning at 10:00 am. Thank you for your supporting our ministry.
