On Dec 18, we hosted our annual Brian Center of Alleghany "Thanks-Christmas Dinner," and this year our them was Winter Wonderland. Families and residents gathered do a delicious meal cooked by our awesome dietary staff. It was all hands-on deck from department managers and our awesome nursing and CNAs made sure everyone was looking fabulous for the evening.

Housekeeping and maintenance did a fantastic job ensuring the building was in perfect conditions for our large gathering. It was perfect night of making memories.

We are truly a blessed family.

Looking to spread some holiday cheer? As the season approaches, it’s a great time to remember the 1.35 million people living in skilled nursing and assisted living communities. Care teams work hard to make the holidays special—but a little extra kindness goes a long way.

If you’re interested in donating, here are some meaningful gift ideas:
• Large-print books, puzzles, games, and adult coloring supplies
• Cozy blankets, throws, and fire-retardant pillows
• Warm clothing like pajamas, sweatshirts, gripped socks, and slippers
• Personal care items and lotions

• Picture frames to help brighten their rooms

We are so THANKFUL for our amazing staff at The Brian Center of Alleghany! Today we celebrated with a pre-Thanksgiving lunch, and a huge shoutout goes to our department heads for preparing such delicious dishes to show appreciation for our team.
