Lowell warming center information ❄️ 🧤
In anticipation of extreme cold temperatures, a Warming Center for all individuals will be available at the Inn & Conference Center, 50 Warren St.
The Warming Center will open tonight, Friday, January 23, at 7:00PM, and remain open until further notice.

All are encouraged to be prepared for the extreme cold weather by:

• Looking in on neighbors when safe to do so, especially older adults and people with special needs.
• Notifying the Lowell 911 Center if you are aware of someone suffering from the cold and/or frostbite.

Recovery Cafe Lowell is a member-driven, Peer Recovery Support Center that honors the individual, celebrates diversity, and upholds the value and potential of ALL human beings. We are a community of people who value the power of human connection as well as empower people to live self-directed lives
What sets Recovery Café Lowell apart is our uncompromising compassion and dedication to inherent, human value. We believe that all human beings are worthy of love and deserve opportunities to fulfill their potential regardless of past trauma, behavioral health challenges, or mistakes made.
Recovery Café recognizes that everyone is in recovery from something. No matter what form someone’s individual challenges take – whether it be with substance use, mental health, homelessness, re-entry, grief or otherwise – all are welcome. Our Center is a place where all will be supported, known, and loved.
At Recovery Café we understand that diversity goes beyond culture, race, religion, etc. We recognize how endearingly unique we each are in our experiences, perspectives, and beliefs. We encourage our members to cultivate their individual style of thinking, learning, and expressing themselves – to first and foremost, be true to themselves.
Recovery Café Lowell is deliberate in not aligning itself with any specific treatment program/philosophy, religious belief, or recovery pathway. It is a place where individuals define and pursue their own healing and recovery, where ALL people and pathways are welcome and supported.
Come connect, learn, teach, grow, and have some fun with us!!!
