It's finally done! This one is for the house, not for sale. It's not perfect, but it will grace the space near my husband's records.

Real talk for a minute. I recently joined an embroidery Facebook group and shared this piece. I learned that this kit I bought off Amazon had stolen the pattern from a maker who sells on Etsy. Unfortunately, apparently this is pretty common. I ended up purchasing the pattern from the original creator.

If you're looking to get into embroidery, find some patterns or kits on Etsy. If you want some suggestions on how to get the patterns from Etsy to fabric, let me know.

She's been doing these "How to Draw" YouTube videos since yesterday afternoon. She was introduced to this channel from remote school and is captivated.

YouTube is a great place for tutorials anytime you want to pick up a new skill.

Here's another free hand embroidery piece. I was going for a plaid look, without planning a lick of it.

While it's nowhere near as complete as I initially thought I'd take it, I like it.

Tried my hand at loom knitting. Easy and quick. It made me want to break out my crochet needle again too.

Welcome!

I've long joked I would open a store one day called "Sh*t my Friends Make" to sell all the cool sh*t my friends make.

Well, earlier this year I opened my Etsy shop and casually listed a few items of my own. I made my first sale, listed a few more things. Listed some of my husband's paintings. Then made my second sale.

Now is the time to start growing this thing! This page is very much under construction but I appreciate your support - and if you have cool sh*t you'd like me to sell, get in touch!
