No other call or work duties required. Expected volume is ~60 RVU/shift, and is predominantly ED/Inpatient work. Options to maintain subspecialty MRI skills are available but not required.

Job includes both remote and onsite rotations reading general radiology work with 50%+ subspecialized work, including prostate MR, MRE, MRU, GI/GU oncology MR staging exams, US Liver Elastography, etc. Full-time preferred, but part-time considered.

Case mix is diverse but focuses on PAD, IO, venous access, biopsy/drainage, GU, venous interventions, dialysis access maintenance, gastrostomy, visceral embolization, vein ablation, vertebral augmentation and hepatobiliary interventions. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re spotlighting how innovation is transforming care.

Dr. Lauren Hollowell, Chief of Breast Radiology at Lowell General Hospital and breast imager with Commonwealth Radiology Associates (CRA), recently joined NBC 10 Boston’s Priscilla Casper to discuss how AI is revolutionizing breast imaging.

Thanks to Shields Health, Lowell General now features AI-powered MRI technology—enhancing diagnostic confidence and speeding up scan times to serve more patients efficiently.

According to Dr. Hollowell, “Anything we can do to catch that cancer early, the better. The more we advocate for women getting mammograms, getting MRI…the more we can save lives.”
