Good Afternoon folks. Gov. Baker has ordered all non-essential businesses to shut down until April 7th. Although we are a licensed medical facility and as such, deemed essential, after much thought and consideration we have decided to suspend office hours until April 7th.
Please understand, while we have remained open, we have taken every precaution recommended by the CDC to keep our patients and staff safe. While I feel we have done an extremely good job of keeping the office clean and safe, I feel compelled to do more as the situation is ever evolving.
It may sound cliché at this point, but I truly believe “we are all in this together” and as such need to work together to slow the transmission of COVID -19. We need to protect the most vulnerable and help lessen the burden on the health care system and its amazing workers.
I want you to know that we are here for you. We are transitioning our patient care to “Tele-Health.” Either Dr. Trish or I will be reaching out to you over the next week to check in to see how you are holding up. If there is any value we can add during the call, please ask. We can go over diet, exercise, nutrition and some stress relieving “anchoring techniques.”
As you already know, STRESS is real problem. It’s not just the physical or chemical stress but most importantly right now is EMOTIONAL STRESS.
Uncertainty can bring worry. Worry can lead to anxiety... Anxiety leads to STRESS. That Stress can and does lead to physical distress, like tight muscles, stomach issues or even headaches. If there is anything we can do to help you, we will. We look forward to serving you. We will not abandon you when you need us the most.
Practice PATIENCE and KINDNESS.. See you soon..
