William S. Robinson, III, 73, of Exeter, NH, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Exeter Hospital, following complications from a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on November 17, 1952, in Lowell, MA, Bill was the son of the late William S. Robinson, Jr. and Maureen (McHugh) Weldon. He was raised and educated in Hudson, NH, and graduated from Alvirne High School—where his curiosity, independence, and love of tinkering were already taking shape.

In 1975, Bill proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, serving 6 years until his honorable discharge. He deeply appreciated the opportunities the Navy gave him, especially the chance to see the world while serving his country. Of all the places he traveled, he spoke most fondly of his time in the Azores.

Bill was a longtime member of the American Legion, and an enthusiastic member of the Mercury Cougar Car Club. A true automotive enthusiast—and unapologetic gearhead—Bill loved anything with an engine. He poured that same passion into building model cars and airplanes, and could often be found flying (and occasionally crashing) control line planes, many of them his own designs.

Family meant everything to Bill. He cherished holidays spent with loved ones, but Christmas held a special place in his heart. His elaborate Christmas village display became a beloved tradition and was even featured on NH Chronicle this past year—something that brought him great joy and pride. https://youtu.be/wht5wYjlE6E?t=166

Confined to a wheelchair for 44 years, Bill never allowed it to define or limit him. Known affectionately as “Hell on Wheels,” he remained a daredevil at heart, always finding ways to live life fully and on his own terms. He worked for Home Depot in Seabrook, NH, for five years and previously spent many years as an electronics technician with RCA and Raytheon.

Bill is survived by his three sons: James Neskey and his partner Kimberly Baxter of Methuen, MA; Aaron Neskey and his wife Jessica of Raymond, NH; and William S. Robinson IV and his wife Kae of Derry, NH. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren—Zoey, William, Ryleigh, Allaryce, Emberly and Zoe—who brought him endless pride and happiness. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne (Robinson) Conte and her husband Timothy, as well as his step-siblings, Joan Weldon and Susan Weldon.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Bill’s honor to Easterseals New Hampshire, an organization whose mission reflects his resilient spirit and lifelong determination. Donations may be made at https://eastersealsnh.org/donate/

Phillip George Petros

Phillip George Petros, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026,
after a short illness. He was 69 years old.

Born on June 18, 1956, Phillip was a lifelong resident of Lowell and was proud to call it home.
He lived simply and found a lot of joy in his everyday routine: a good game on TV, a phone call
with his father, and time spent with friends.

As a young man, Phillip served in the United States Army, completing his service in 1976. One of
the highlights of his military career was serving as a trumpet player in the Honor Guard with the
7th Infantry Band, traveling throughout California to perform “Taps” at veterans’ funerals.

After his time in the military, Phillip went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in theology from the
Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul Minnesota. He worked for many years as a customer service
representative. He was known for his booming deep baritone voice. He also had a great laugh
that could turn heads and make people smile. Phillip had a nice way of staying connected to his
family members by calling on birthdays to sing “Happy Birthday” in Spanish.

Phillip was predeceased by his beloved mother, Blanche Petros. He is survived by his father,
Joseph Petros, age 101; his sister and her husband, Noreen and Russell Masterson; his daughter,
Sierra Petros; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and nephews.

In recent years, Phillip lived with his close friend Edward Clinch, who brought great friendship
and support to his daily life.

Phillip will be remembered with love for his distinctive voice, sense of humor, and the unique
ways he showed his friends and family that he cared about them.

His funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 10am in the Chapel at Saint Patrick Cemetery. www.mahoneyfuneralhome.com
