The entire Advanced Eye Care Associates team is excited to welcome the newest member of our eye care family — Dr. Chad Belanger!

Chad Belanger, B.S., O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. During his time in optometry school, he was recognized with several honors, including the award for Most Outstanding Student in the Department of Optometry.

Dr. Belanger began practicing in Zachary, Louisiana, after graduating in 2003 and later joined our Sidney office in September 2018. With nearly two decades of experience, he is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate eye care to patients of all ages.

He and his wife, Shannon, who is also an optometrist and a native of Fort Edward, New York, live in Oneonta with their three children. Their daughter, Abby, enjoys softball and horses, while their twins, Brynn and Beau, love spending time with the family dog, Lulu. The Belanger family is excited to be part of the community and looks forward to serving its eye care needs for many years to come.
