The LCGH Auxiliary donated $4,000 to the Hospital Foundation for the Fund For Hope from their annual chocolate sale.

The Fund for Hope supports cancer patients who live in Lewis County or use the services of the Lewis County Health System with their treatment travel expenses.

If you or someone you know is dealing with cancer treatment expenses, please complete the one-page application and return to the Hospital Foundation. Once approved, the cancer patient can receive $1,000 annually to assist with treatment travel expenses. No financial information is required.

The LCGH Auxiliary Chocolate Sale was a resounding success, selling out in just one day. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Fund for Hope. We extend our gratitude to all who purchased chocolate and especially to the volunteers who contributed to the success by making, packaging, donating, and selling the chocolates.

Joanne Kellogg was recognized for her outstanding contributions to the LCGH Auxiliary, particularly her leadership of the Chocolate Sale, and was presented with a card and gift by new co-chairs Renee Dino and Sharon Kelly, who expressed their gratitude and acknowledged the valuable experience and knowledge gained from working alongside her. One month away, back at Lowville Central School this year!
One thing to note is the huge raffle bar that we have! Anyone who participates in this should be available to get your item if your name is drawn. We start drawing tickets at 1:45, if you are not there, we ask that you come to pick up your item by 3pm.
