ISO: Therapy Horse for Adaptive Riding Program

Our program is looking to add a new equine partner to our herd! We are seeking a kind, steady, confidence-building horse who can help support riders of all abilities.

✨ Ideal Horse:

Age: 10+

Height: 14–15 hh

Breed Type: Draft cross preferred (but will consider others with the right temperament!)

Soundness: Must be serviceably sound for walk/trot/canter and pass flexion tests. Maintenance ok.

Training: Solid under saddle with good basics and a willingness to learn

✨ Temperament & Characteristics We’re Looking For:

Exceptionally calm, patient, and unflappable

Comfortable with mounting blocks, sidewalkers, adaptive tack, and varied rider needs

A true steady-eddy — not reactive, startle-prone, or overly forward

Enjoys and seeks out human interaction; kind, gentle, and people-oriented

Comfortable with sensory equipment (balls, cones, props, noise)

Good with frequent transitions, stopping/standing quietly, and working in groups

Sure-footed, balanced, with a strong back and able to carry themselves safely with different riders

A horse who genuinely enjoys a quiet routine and thrives in a calm, structured environment

We provide a loving, professional home with excellent care, regular vet/farrier, and a program built around respect for our horses’ well-being.

🌟 Volunteer of the Month: Manon! 🌟

We’re excited to celebrate Manon as our Volunteer of the Month at Vinceremos! 🐴💙

Manon discovered our center through Facebook and has been an incredible part of our team ever since. She brings such dedication and care to everything she does—from grooming and bathing to tacking up her favorite horses: Clark, Zoey, and Bubba.

Her love for the horses truly shines, and she says one of the things she appreciates most about Vinceremos is the high quality of care we provide for them. And she’s a big reason we’re able to keep that standard so high!

Thank you, Manon, for your kindness, hard work, and the heart you bring to our barn every day. We’re so lucky to have you as part of the Vinceremos family!

Hey everyone!
We're looking for passionate, reliable volunteers to join us at our Therapeutic Horsemanship Center! Whether you're a horse lover, someone interested in mental health and healing, or just want to give back in a meaningful way — we’d love to have you on our team.

🌿 About Us:
Vinceremos offers equine-assisted activites for individuals with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. Through hands-on work with our horses, participants build confidence, trust, and emotional strength — and our volunteers play a huge role in that journey.

🐎 What You’ll Do:
Help care for and groom the horses
Assist during lessons (no experience needed — we train!)
Support facility upkeep and daily routines
Be part of a supportive, purpose-driven community

🕒 Time Commitment:
We’re flexible! Weekday and weekend shifts are available. Even a few hours a week makes a big impact.

📍 Location:
Loxahatchee, Fl . Off of Southern Blvd.
